Kenya Medical Association (KMA) is a national association of doctors and dentists that was founded in 1968 and incorporated in 1973. Its mandate is to promote the quality practice of medicine in Kenya, to uphold high standards of medical ethics and conduct, to advise the government and other stakeholders on health matters, to promote the welfare of doctors and to support continuing professional development. It also aims to improve the quality of health care services to the public and to liaise with other medical associations around the world.
