Etihad Airways opens advanced aviation clinic for employees

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, opened the doors to a new world-class medical facility in Abu Dhabi for its employees. The complex includes an aviation clinic, employee visa medical centre, as well as an Emirates ID centre.
Located at Etihad Plaza in Khalifa City, the facility will allow the airline’s 23,800 UAE-based employees access to a modern, comfortable and exclusive environment near its head office complex.

Nigerian leaders for US Africa business summit in Ethiopia

A summit being organized by The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) to promote business and investment between the United States and the nations of Africa will hold in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from February 1 to 4, 2016.
According to a statement, top Nigerian business leaders are expected to participate in the CCA’s U.S.-Africa Business Summit. Confirmed speakers include the Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, Peter Amangbo; Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Oscar N. Onyema; Chief Executive Officer of Seplat Petroleum, Austin Avuru and the Co-Founder, AACE Foods, Ndidi Nwuneli.

Tanzania: Govt Registers 10,000 Herbalists Official Says

Dar es Salaam — At least 10,000 out of the 75,000 traditional herbalists and alternative health practitioners estimated to operate in the country had been registered by the government until the end of the year.
The Registrar of the Alternative Health Practices Council of Tanzania (AHPCT), Ms Mboni Bakari, said yesterday that some 400 herbalists have also submitted their registration forms following the recent government directive to all healers do so.
